  Remove invasive brush using Seppi mower

  Girdle invasive trees by cutting a narrow ring through the bark around the trunk base

  Introduce winter mowing on uplands to control small brushy resprouts and encourage native species repopulation

  Apply appropriate herbicide as necessary

  Introduce prescribed burns

  Control targeted invasive species such as common reed, reed canary grass, cattails and other aggressive species that are crowding out desirable flora
